New Online Payment System and Monthly Auto Payments

We are excited to introduce a new online payment system! Beginning this season, we will no longer accept payments through PayPal. Registration fees, tuition, and recital fees can now be paid directly through the Parent Portal.

Please note:

  • Registration is not complete until the registration fee has been paid through the Parent Portal. You will not be able to enroll in classes without completing your payment online through the parent portal.
  • Families who choose the monthly payment option (August through May) must sign a Payment Agreement during registration.
  • Families choosing to pay tuition in full for the year must notify the office by email or Facebook messaFamilies choosing to pay tuition in full for the year must sign a Payment Agreement during registration and also must notify the office by email or Facebook message following registration so their account can be updated accordingly.
  • The card used to pay the $55 registration fee will be securely stored and used for automatic monthly tuition payments, as well as recital fees due on October 15.
  • Monthly tuition payments will be processed automatically on the 1st of each month from August through May, regardless of your class meeting date.
  • Any credit or debit card processing fees charged through the Parent Portal are the responsibility of the family or cardholder. There is a 3% surcharge when using Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.
  • If you prefer to pay your monthly tuition by cash or check, please contact info@njadonline.com to request that we opt you out of automatic drafts.

Visit the Registration page for registration instructions and a full registration packet, which includes information on schedule, tuition, and other policies (which are also listed on this page). Upon registration, you are acknowledging that you are responsible for reviewing and understanding the information and policies on our website and within the registration packet.

Please note that recital fees and some class age breakdowns have changed this year to ensure every student has a place and to maintain required class sizes. It is very important that you carefully read all registration and class schedule information before signing up. Failure to do so may result in your dancer being moved or losing their spot in a class entirely.

Class Minimum Enrollment Policy: Classes require a minimum of six enrolled students to remain on the schedule. If a class has five or fewer students enrolled, the class may be canceled or combined with another class at the studio’s discretion.

Age and Grade Placement Eligibility: Student age, grade placement, and eligibility are determined according to the enrollment and age requirements of the local public school system (Jefferson County Schools/JEFCOED), not homeschool grade placement. Students will be placed based on their birthdate and the grade level they would be assigned in the local public school system. The studio also reserves the right to place or recommend a student in a different class when experience, technical ability, or skill level indicates that an alternate placement would provide the best learning environment.

Tuition

  • Tuition cost information is available in the registration packet on the Registration page.
  • Tuition is based on a ten-month dance year (August–May). For your convenience, tuition may be paid in ten equal monthly payments due on the 1st day of each month.
  • Each family must have a valid credit or debit card on file through the Parent Portal. The card used to pay the $55 registration fee will be securely stored and used for automatic monthly tuition payments, as well as recital fees due on October 15.
  • Monthly tuition payments will be automatically processed on the 1st of each month (August–May), regardless of your class meeting date.
  • Families choosing the monthly payment option (August–May) must sign a Payment Agreement during registration.
  • Families choosing to pay tuition in full for the year must sign a Payment Agreement during registration and also must notify the office by email or Facebook message following registration so their account can be updated accordingly.
  • If you prefer to pay your monthly tuition by cash or check, please contact info@njadonline.com to request that we opt you out of automatic drafts.
  • The dancer with the highest tuition in a family pays full tuition. Tuition for each additional dancer is half price.
  • A 10% discount is also available when the full year’s tuition is paid by September 1. This discount does not apply to registration or recital/theatre fees.
  • A late fee will be added to any account that is more than 7 days past due.
  • If an account becomes more than 60 days delinquent, the student will not be permitted to attend class until the account is brought current.
  • A two-week written notice is required if your child wishes to discontinue classes.
  • A $30 fee will be charged for all returned checks. After one returned check, future payments by check will no longer be accepted.
  • Tuition is non-refundable. Missed classes may be made up when possible; however, no refunds will be issued for missed classes. In the event we must close for reasons beyond our control, we will make every effort to provide make-up classes in some form to cover missed instruction.

Recital Fees

  • Recital/Theatre fees cover all costumes, participation in the recital at the Alabama Theatre, admission for unlimited guests, and a digital recital program.
  • Recital fees are $100 for the first class and $75 for each additional class. These fees are charged per dancer, per class.
  • Elementary combo classes are considered one class, and pointe students will not be charged separate recital fees for their tap and jazz classes.
  • Recital fees are due by October 15 and are non-refundable. The credit or debit card used to pay the $55 registration fee will be securely stored and automatically charged for the recital fees.
  • In the event we must close for reasons beyond our control, we will offer make-up classes in some form to cover missed instruction, and a recital will be held to the best of our ability.

Recital fees example:

Child 1: Pointe J ($100) + hip-hop ($75) + lyrical ($75) + Jr Dance Team ($75) = $325
Child 2: Elem 3/4 ($100) + Jr hip-hop ($75) = $175
Total recital fees: Child 1 ($325) + Child 2 ($175) = $500

Recital Dates

Dance recital and rehearsals will take place the weekend of May 7-8, 2027. Dress rehearsal is mandatory for recital participation. There are NO exceptions. We are providing this schedule at registration so you can block off this weekend now and inform any coaches or other organizations that your child will be fully committed to NJAD for those dates.
