Not many people know this, but I started at the age of four years old taking dance! I began with ballet and jazz, loving every moment of it. As I got older, I was drawn more to marching band and the environment created by the people in it.

I started off my marching band career toting a flute around the field. Shortly after that, I picked up some batons and took up twirling! After that, it has been a dream. I was majorette at Locust Fork High School, where I was captain for three out of four years. We received superior ratings at every competition we went to and won best in class numerous times.

Then, I had the honor of being selected as a UAB majorette in 2018, where the Blazers made history by winning their first bowl game in Boca Raton, FL in the Cheribundi Bowl. I was honored to serve as captain for my 5th year on the majorette line. Every year I have been blessed to be a part of record breaking moments as the Blazers continue to grow and better. But the best part to me was getting the opportunity to learn from Mrs. Stacy Arnold. She did a fabulous job of making all of us look good, while keeping us in check at the same time! For that, I can not thank her enough. I

am truly blessed in many ways, and I am so excited for the opportunity to begin my 4th year instructing at NJAD!
